Twilight wins 2 Awards at the People’s Choice Awards, Kristen Stewart wins 1

Rob, Kristen, and Taylor took a break from filming Breaking Dawn in Baton Rouge to attend the People’s Choice Awards that aired Jan 5th. According to information gathered by Queen Latifah, the Host of the evening, they flew on a private jet that Rob described as “Posh”. Kristen was looking absolutely gorgeous in a sparkly gold gown that showed off her magnificent legs, that frankly made me jealous. Taylor was classic in black as usual and Rob was not showing to his best in a yellowish (yeah might have tried to be “biscuit” colored) coat.

Let’s face reality here for a moment before getting to the award talk- We all know that I do not care what anyone is wearing, especially Rob, cause I’m only imagining him WITHOUT clothes but I try to be honest about what I see. Sadly the truth was Rob was looking tired, his hair was messy but not in that really hot messy way we’re used to and he normally shows more style than he did tonight. Maybe we should fire his stylist? Well it’s a thought.

Now let’s get on to the award talk. *DRUM ROLL PLEASE* Kristen won the award for Favorite Movie Actress beating out veteran actresses such as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, and Katherine Heigl. Unfortunately both Kristen and Rob lost out to Zac Efron for the Favorite Movie Star Under 25. Rob and Taylor lost out as well for Favorite Movie Actor but at least they lost to Johnny Depp. The Twilight Trio won the award for Favorite On Screen Team.


The Twilight Saga: Eclipse won the awards for Favorite Drama
Movie as well as the big award of the night, Favorite Movie! On a side note, Paramore won the award for Favorite Rock Band. So there’s the results as they relate to Twilight and our favorite trio. Don’t forget to tune into the Golden Globe awards, airing Sunday Jan 16th at 8 PM EST, 5 PM PST on NBC where Rob will be a presenter.

Yes Aimee and I are fully aware that we've been gone for like 3 months with nothing to say. I know we have probably lost followers due to our absense. Eclipse!! Reaction, Book Discussions, and MORE!

Aimee and I have been crazy busy with Real Life crap to the point where not only are we behind on our blogging and fan fiction reading but our house looks like a hurricane hit it and all we want to do when we aren't working is sleep. Luckily I was hit with the insomnia bug on my days off this week and what better way to keep my wandering sleeplessness busy but post an update to our followers!

Our Eclipse Trailer Reaction...better late than never!


We actually did film this the day the trailer came out and of course we meant to post it the next day but then the Real World police came busting in with distractions so now here it is in all its glory.



As you can see we are not impressed with the trailer. It had a couple of spotlight moments and all I can say is this movie better kick ass or I'm gonna be LIVID! Where were the Cullens? Where were the wolf pack and their new members?! The Volturi are in the damn book for like a page...just cause Dakota Fanning plays Jane does not mean she needs to be in the trailer and whats the deal with Bryce Dallas Howard in her Rachelle costume? (Can you tell I'm still not cool with Summit's lil switch)

Moving On.....

On a good side note, because of our reaction videos for both Eclipse and New Moon, we were contacted by a writer with The Washington Post doing a piece on reaction videos. She also happens to be a twifreak! I did a phone interview with her and though we haven't heard anything yet...it might be a possibility that Aimee and I will be featured somewhere in the article **SQUEE** so we'll keep a lookout for that and post if we get any kind of confirmation.

Leaked Script? No Thank You

Even your granny is in shock and awe

So the Twiuniverse is all a buzz about this leaked Eclipse script. This is my brief opinion about it...

Aimee and I took a vow of purity for Eclipse so I have not seen even a little picture of this leaked script. If you are reading this and you also took a purity promise for Eclipse you shouldn't be reading it either!


Do Aimee or I know where to find it? Of course we do. We're a part of a link of girls that while some have chosen to be Twivirgins others love their spoilers so yeah we have access to it. Are we gonna tell you where to find it or who to go to? Nope!! Because why would you want to be that spoiled?

Did Jackson Rathbone have a hand in playing the part of Leaker Extraordinaire? While that sounds a little like he won a piss contest rather than leak a script let's put this in a realistic perspective. Other than a small handful of Twilight actors/actresses whose movie careers have blossomed due to the franchise, most of them while they are very talented just aren't seeing as many scripts. So why would Jackson Rathbone sully his name and destroy his career by leaking a script? I don't think he had anything to do with it. If I'm wrong...I still wouldn't understand.

Eclipse is my favorite book of the series. This is one of the main reasons I went pure in the first place so that it couldn't not be ruined for me. Aimee took her vows because she was so overstimulated with New Moon spoilers that it spoiled her initial excitement when it finally came out. But if you want to indulge in sinful scriptage then just do some Google work and blog research and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for pretty damn quick...it just won't be here.

Susie and Aimee reclaim their virginity?!?

Alright so for eclipse there are gonna be some changes around here. Me and Susie, in an attempt to be pure at something, have taken our own purity pledge.  We have decided that we are not going to search for, look at, "stumble across", or post any leaked eclipse set pics. We also are not going to do the same for videos or basically anything for Eclipse. Here's what we will do- we will post the cast list (cause um heh we already did), we will post announcements about the soundtrack- but we don't know how pure we're gonna for the music yet so- they may be basic posts with go here to preorder crap. We are going to watch  the Official Trailer- ONLY 1 TIME- when it gets released. We will not post the trailer on the blog, we will link you to it, and we are going to do a reaction video to it which is why we're watching it only 1 time. We will also probably end up posting more summit officially released news or links to pics/posters when they are released. So we will get you linked somehow to what you want, hopefully without us seeing it lol.

Why are we doing this you may ask? Are we just following a trend? Nope, although purity pledges seem to be gaining momentum (see the pretty pic on the right?), we decided to do this mostly because we want to be excited, the same level of excitement as when Twilight came out. For Twilight, we had seen the trailer and the posters and shirts and basically that was it- it was awesome because we watched it without knowing every little detail. And while we may not know every little detail about New Moon, what we do know is overload! Eclipse for us is gonna be a surprise. We're not gonna know how the hair and makeup look (although we already know that KStew's Wig is awful!) and we're not gonna try to find out. So- if you'd like to join us, please take the purity pledge with us! If you want to be an Eclipse Slut, then we will try to make sure your have at least links so you can find what you want. Soon i'm going to be trying to compile a basic list of those blogs/sites that are pure and will post it up so you guys know. *If you are one of those sites leave us a msg in the comments letting us know.

New Books, Pumpkins, and Confessions

New News from Stephenie's site today. Some new editions are going on sale soon. First listed is The Twilight Sage: New Moon Movie Tie-In (already on sale)- same good story, cool cover art (according to Seth.) The next goes on sale tomorrow, erm, today October 6th, The Twilight Saga: New Moon- The Official Illustrated Movie Companion. We have the Twilight one which is awesome so I'm looking forward to getting my own copy of this but I'm going to wait until the movie actually comes out so nothing is spoiled. Lastly we have the New Moon Collector's Edition and The Twilight Journals both on sale October 13th.

Also over at TwiCrack Addict today I saw that there are actually Twilight Pumpkin Carving Stencils available! How AWESOME is that?!? Here's what they look like.
I'm afraid to actually carve a pumpkin and leave it outside in my neighborhood but I might have to buy them and set up pumpkins in the house and hope the cats them them alone. Here's a link to purchase: click here.

On a personal note, I have been trying to stay away from Eclipse pictures, set news, etc- It's been hard going and no I'm not upset if I see something but lately I've been remembering (In all this lead up to New Moon) how much I didn't know about Twilight before it came out and how obsessed I got over the movie. I watched it over and over again at the theatre, i found online (yes illegal) copies online to watch every night for months after it came out. I bought all the merchandise I could lay my hands on in this podunk town- and I became a Twitard. Now with New Moon, I've seen a lot of information, clips, videos, and yes I loved watching the Trailers and video mashups and all that but I feel almost apathetic about the movie coming out. I'm hoping I get more excited the closer it comes out but I'm afraid that I've seen almost all of the movie in all the clips and pictures I've seen already. So with this feeling I have distanced myself from the Eclipse news- and let me say I'm so excited for Eclipse to come out already. I don't know what it's going to entail, I don't know how it's going to look (beside KStew's really bad wig, who could miss that picture?) and so I think I have found my passion again. I went to go see Fame this weekend and there was a New Moon trailer before the movie and yes I got excited because it was the first time I got to see the trailer on the big screen but oh boy I cannot wait until Eclipse. I feel almost like I did when I finished reading Twilight and had to wait to get my hands on the rest of the books- pure excitement and joy! Perhaps I have reclaimed my TV (Twilight Virginity) card but whatever it is I'm glad to have found it.

Ok I just totally had a joy-gasm. This wonderful video (yanked from Twitarded) is by the very talented Mrs. Vanquish. OME- I have just had a total and complete le petite mort (google it if you don't know what it means, I dare you).



In other wonderful news that is completely non-twilight related, I have a date with a guy who doesn't mind my Twilight obsession. Uh huh he says that now LOL. Neither here nor there I know but it got me almost as excited as that video as I haven't had a date in forever.

Maria and Royce King II Have Been Cast!

Summitt has announced that Catalina Sandino Moreno will be playing the part of the mysteriously intriguing Maria in the upcoming Eclipse. As you all know Maria is Jasper's creator, confidant, and essentially his nightmare during the first part of his vampire life.



She looks very lovely and I'm sure once she is in full costume, she will look just as I have always imagined Maria to look; A dark and dangerous beauty. Congratulations Catalina!

Also just in from Peace,Love,Twilight Blog actor Jack Huston has been chosen to play Royce King II in a flashback for Eclipse. The role of Royce King II is small but pivotal piece of Rosalie's human history that I have always found fascinating. I really hope this guy can give it his all.


He looks smoldering in this picture but not quite dangerous. Sources say he will only be in a flashback which probably means not a lot of face time, but if they do the wardrobe and makeup right, I think that he would pull off an aristocratic "gentleman" from the time of The Great Depression.

Quick Update on Cast in Vancouver

According to Peter Facinelli's Twitter account tonight apparently some of the cast will be doing fight training tomorrow. YES FIGHT TRAINING! This makes me so happy because the part of Eclipse I'm really looking forward to is the Vampire/Wolves practice sessions and of course the battle with the newborns! Still only hearing reports of Peter, Elizabeth, Kellan, Nikki, and Taylor being in Vancouver (of the main cast- we know there are other actors there as well). *fan girl squeal* Soon the set stalking will begin!

Summit Responds

This situation is just making even more angry so instead of ranting for another half hour I'm going to send all of you over to Confessions of a Twicrack Addict where she has just posted Summit's response to Rachelle Lefevre's statement in which basically they put on the blame right back on her.

Summit Just LOVES to Piss Us Off!

Just got the word from our "sisters" on the Twiblogverse that there has been further development in the Rachelle replacement. This is a statement made earlier today by Rachelle Lefevre to Access Hollywood

“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse. I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules.

“My commitment to Barney’s Version (This is the "other" project I was talking about) is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse. Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10-day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.

“I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the Twilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best.”

Ok Summit! What the FUCK! First you make David Slade the new director and while I love his work on Hard Candy I have NOT been happy about their decision in making him the Eclipse director in the first place. Then you threaten to replace Taylor Lautner for New Moon and the boy has to kill himself with dedication so he can secure his role! NOW THIS! I am not the only one extremely pissed by this further development. A New Victoria...WTF!

It seems that actress Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing Rachelle Levre as Victoria for Eclipse, which will start filming in August. WTF! I understood though didn't like when they replaced Sam Uley. He on the other hand in "Twilight" only had a couple of lines and one scene. Victoria on the other hand...big deal! Really fucking big deal for the third movie especially! What is everyones thought on this. Help me help you...cause at this point I am flabergasted. As I understand it Rachelle apparently has a future project in the works that is not going to give her an open slot to film Eclipse. Why exactly is Summit dropping this bomb on us now. GAH! Not happy...really not happy!

RILEY IS CAST!

And No it isn't Tom Felton or Channing Tatum- it has been confirmed that Xaxier Samuel, an Austrialian Actor, has been cast as Riley in Eclipse. This is the first cast announcement for characters we are dying to see in Eclipse. You can see more information on the announcement at the Twilight Lexicon.

Still no word on any cast decision for Leah or Seth Clearwater. I know everyone is dying for this announcement- including us!
